Gerardmer ski resort is in Grand Est in the Vosges department in northeast France. The main tourist attraction of Gérardmer, the ski resort of La Mauselaine is the second ski area of the Vosges and has no less than forty kilometers of alpine skiing.
Gérardmer, known as “the pearl of the Vosges” actually offers two ski areas, La Mauselaine and Bas-Rupts. The 20 downhill ski runs in the Gerardmer ski area, including the longest in the Vosges, cover 40 kilometres in total and are just 2 kilometres from the centre. There is a free shuttle bus service between the ski resort centre and the slopes. One of the runs is flood lit at night and music fills the air while you take in the fairytale mountain atmosphere. Gerardmer village
