Špindlerův Mlýn is the most popular ski resort in the Czech Republic. It is situated 120 km north from Prague. Špindlerův is located in the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše).The ski area has great conditions for down hill skiiing, ski cross running.
Spinleruv Mlyn is certainly the most beautiful and most famous ski resort of the Czech Republic. It is closest to the Austrian and Swiss skiing experience. Špindlerův Mlýn ski area
Skiareal Špindlerův Mlýn offers skiing in five resorts - Svatý Petr, Hromovka, Medvědín, Horní Mísečky and Labská - on 27 km of ski slopes. Resorts of Svatý Petr, Medvědín and Labská are also connected by a regular Ski Bus line.
Svatý Petr is the most important center of sports in Špindlerův Mlýn. Every year it hosts many major and international sporting events. In the area of Svatý Petr there are two cableways in operation in winter, heated 6-chair lift Svatý Petr - Pláň and 2-chair lift on FIS World Cup black slope. The local downhill courses are the best in terms of elevation and grooming in the Czech Republic.
The Medvědín ski resort, which is connected by cableway to the Horní Mísečky ski resort, is increasingly sought after by skiers who like relaxing skiing on sunny slopes. There is a very good black ski slope designed primarily for sports and red ski slope with a width of up to 60 meters, which is one of the widest slopes in the Czech Republic.
The area Horní Mísečky is a suitable place for beginners and family holidays with children. It offers both ski lifts and 4-seater chairlift leading from Horní Mísečky to Medvědín and well maintained slopes with snowpark. Thanks to the cable car the check-in time has been shortened and overall this location offers much greater comfort for transportation and skiing. In the area Horní Mísečky you will find a cross-country trails with raicing circuits (1 km, 2 km, 5 km, 10 km) and other cross-country trails - Bencko, Vrbatova bouda, Kotel, Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Harrachov,... .
The gateway to the ski-resot Špindlerův Mlýn is areal Hromovka. which will welcome you on arrival in the mountain town. The four-seater chairlift is located 50 m from the central park-place and connects - blue and red slopes - Hromovka and Svatý Petr resort. Long rugged slopes are sought after by experienced skiers. Night skiing fans will find one of the longest and best lit slopes in the Czech Republic.
Smaller resort Labská is located at the Elbe dam at the beginning of Špindlerův Mlýn. The three-seat chairlift with red ski-slope meandering throught the forest and among cottages is ideal place for families with children, cross-country skiers and hikers looking for winter beauty. Hight station cabel-car is a ideal access to the cross-country trails - Horní Misečky, Vrbatova bouda, Benecko, Rovinka,... . Regular ski-bus line (Hromovka, Svatý Petr, Medvědín) provides connection with other ski resorts.
Burton Snowpark Svatý Petr
Freestylers will find two parks within the ski area of Spindler's Mill - one in the area Horní Mísecky and one in Svatý Petr. The "Burton Snowpark Svatý Petr" is especially popular due to it's half-pipe, which also hosts international contests. Further there are kickers, a Big Air and a cross run for boarders and skiers.
