From the winter season 2017/18 Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau will be part of Snow Space Salzburg together with the neighbouring resorts of Flachau and Wagrain.

More than 90% blue and red slopes and numerous adventurous opportunities along the slopes make St. Johann a popular hotspot for families and skiers alike.

Highlights in St. Johann, Snow Space Salzburg:

Snow Space Salzburg: the new brand composed of the Flachau, Wagrain, Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau ski areas
120 perfect kilometres of slopes and 45 modern cable cars throughout Snow Space Salzburg
A short distance away from the Austrian Autobahn network, only 70 km away from the city of Salzburg
Snowpark Alpendorf: The snow and fun park’s motto in St. Johann im Pongau’s Alpendorf ski area is “enjoy freestyling”. Here in the park freestyle beginners can attempt their first moves and advanced riders can hone their skills.
The “Devils Route” is great fun for the kids– a forest path through the Geisterberg and the new Ski Movie Alpendorf track

Schilthornbahn: World`s steepest cableway is open!

The world's steepest cable car starts operating. The new direct connection between Stechelberg and Mürren was officially opened the day before as part of a VIP opening ceremony. At the same time, the first section of the cable car between Mürren and Birg will go into operation.

The new Plateau chairlift will enrich the Kronplatz ski area

Kronplatz, one of the premier ski destinations in the Dolomites, has introduced a state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift named Plateau for the 2024/25 winter season. Located in the Olang sector, this new chairlift replaces the previous 4-seater, offering a significant upgrade in comfort and efficiency.
