Kronplatz, one of the premier ski destinations in the Dolomites, has introduced a state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift named Plateau for the 2024/25 winter season. Located in the Olang sector, this new chairlift replaces the previous 4-seater, offering a significant upgrade in comfort and efficiency.
New 8-person Plateau chairlift for more comfort and speed
Kronplatz continues to enhance its facilities with the launch of the new 8-person Plateau chairlift, which will be operational from 30 November 2024. This state-of-the-art installation replaces the old 4-seater lift, significantly improving speed and comfort for skiers heading to the top of the slopes. Key features of this modern lift include:

Heated leather seats and ergonomic backrests for a comfortable ride.

Protective wind bubbles, shielding passengers from harsh weather conditions.

Automatic safety bars and a height-adjustable conveyor belt, ensuring ease of use for children and added security for all riders.

New Jandri 3S gondola to open in Les 2 Alpes in December
Les Deux Alpes, one of France's premier ski resorts, is celebrating the arrival of its state-of-the-art Jandri Express gondola lift for the 2024/25 ski season. A total of 53 cabins manufactured at POMA-Sigma's Veyrins-Thuellins facility will be installed on the cables of a lift intended to replace the Jandri Express built in 1985.
