Also in the Winter Season 2019-2020 the ski area Arabba / Marmolada welcomes the skiing lovers with great news.

Area of Porta Vescovo
- Modernization and general upgrading of the Portavescovo area's programmed snow-making system (Sofma Spa) with an investment of around € 500,000.00.

Area of Pordoi
- Expansion of the Belvedere area (Pordoi Spa) snow-making system for an amount of € 180,000.00.
- Construction of a multi-purpose warehouse next to the chairlift "Maria" at the Pordoi Pass area by the Pordoi Spa Company (expected cost approx. € 700,000)

Area of Bec de Roces
- Upgrading of the snow-making system for the slope "Avoie" (Sit Boè Spa) for an amount of approximately € 250,000.00

Area Campolongo Pass
Implementation of the fleet of programmed snowmaking systems of the Col di Lana Spa company for an amount of € 210,000.00.

Area Padon
- Construction of Gaz-ex cannons in the Padon area to protect the slope.

The world's steepest cable car starts operating. The new direct connection between Stechelberg and Mürren was officially opened the day before as part of a VIP opening ceremony. At the same time, the first section of the cable car between Mürren and Birg will go into operation.

The new Plateau chairlift will enrich the Kronplatz ski area

Kronplatz, one of the premier ski destinations in the Dolomites, has introduced a state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift named Plateau for the 2024/25 winter season. Located in the Olang sector, this new chairlift replaces the previous 4-seater, offering a significant upgrade in comfort and efficiency.
