With elevations of 1,380 and 2,680 metres and 42 kilometres of perfectly groomed and prepared slopes it is easy to see why this is a family favourite for many skiers. Even though the resort is best suited towards intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders, there are still slopes so that the most inexperienced of skiers can experience an unforgettable day on the slopes. For novices and younger families there are 2 kilometres of ‘easy’ runs to find your feet on the slopes. For those who already know how to ski and are in the average-advanced level, there are 34 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ runs including the challenging ‘Vouasson’ slope. There is also 6 kilometres of black tracks for experts, where you can find a range of highly exhilarating tracks and slopes.
Evolène also has an excellent ski school with fantastic resources and instructors who can teach adults and children in the initial stages of their skiing journey.
