Limone Piemonte currently numbers some 1.500 inhabitants and it rise nearly 1.000 metres above sea level. Surrounded by the Maritim Alps, the village lies near the France boundary. The area called "Riserva Bianca" is situated just under the Colle di Tenda, in the Maritime Alps, and may be reached from three routes: Limone Piemonte, Limonetto and Quota 1400.
Thanks to the Winter Olympic Games 2006, held in Turin, the ski resort of Limone Piemonte has been modernized so that it can boast to offer a lot to its visitors: beyond the very efficient ski lift system, the ski area is also equipped with a ski school, an ice-skating rink, many sport facilities...

The slopes are categorized into different levels of difficulty so that everybody can enjoy skiing here from the beginners to the most advanced skiers while some slopes are dedicated to the training of competition-ski teams as well.
If you’re passionate about freeriding, Limone is your place. The Riserva also offers unlimited possibilities for freeride skiing, combining the thrill of fresh snow with a geographical context in which the risks associated with this practice are contained. The area is full of itineraries that alternate wide spaces, fantastic slopes, and beech groves. Thanks to the Alpetta, Pancani and Colle di Tenda lifts, those that reach the highest altitudes of the ski resort, you can reach the direct accesses of many off-piste slopes or the starting points for short hikes with seal skins.
