Tonale Pass is a high mountain pass in northern Italy across the Rhaetian Alps, between Lombardy and Trentino. The village of Passo Tonale lies at a height of 1883m. The resort is lying between two beautiful valleys - Val di Sole and Vallecamonica
Passo Tonale ski area
Its winter season is very long and the ski tracks, covered by an artificial snow system, offer a wide choice of difficulty levels for beginners to experts and competition-training athletes. The system is served by modern and fast 10 ski lift systems located at the pass and another 20 in the rest of the area, all of which offering spectacular views.
The Adamello Ski ski-pass is valid for all the slopes in the Temù-Pontedilegno-Tonale-Presena district; the Superskirama pass is valid for Passo Tonale, Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio-Pinzolo and Peio, while the Combi1 covers the Tonale area as well as being valid for the Val Rendena - Folgarida - Marilleva district for 1 day.

There is also a lovely chill-out area taking full advantage of the south-facing slopes and the sun. The chill-out zone has lots of music and deckchairs for relaxing and taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountain range.

Lively places to visit are the Magic Bar, Bar Heaven in the Sport Vittoria, Nico’s Bar, Cantuccio’s, the UFO bar and the Crazy Horse.
Snowbreak serves fast food and El Bait is the place to go for something more traditional and relaxing. La Botte has a good selection of wines, and you can have a boogie at the Miramonti disco bar, or the nightclubs at Paradiso and Antares.
Passo Tonale village
The small town centre is quaint and charming with traditional Alpine-style buildings housing hotels, restaurants and quaint gift shops, including a fabulous chocolate shop complete with chocolate fountain and handmade gelato which should not be missed.
The town is linked to neighbouring Ponte Di Legno - a larger town with a more traditional European focused layout around a main square - by ski runs, road and by gondola.
