Tatranska Lomnica is one of the largest and most beautiful villages in the High Tatras, Slovakia. Located 6 km east of Smokovec, at the foot of Lomnický Peak.

The skiers' favourite – Lomnické sedlo. The highest and steepest piste from Lomnické sedlo is sure to please even the most demanding skiers. 1,300 m of vertical, a 5-month snow guarantee, the latest chair and gondola lifts and expanded pistes are sure to ensure an excellent experience on the 5.5-kilometre long and 60 m wide carving piste.
Intermediate trails with wide slopes can be found slightly higher in the part of Cucoriedky (Blueberries). It features 4-chair lift.
The ski area offers nearly 6 km of less demanding pistes, which are particularly suited to families with children. The resort does not forget the children for whom there is Maxiland children's park.
Lomnické sedlo also attracts free riders and adrenaline junkies in addition to more casual skiers. Ski mountaineers can enjoy the marked route for ski mountaineering skiing heading across the whole resort up to an altitude of 2190 m.
The lookout tower on Skalnaté pleso tarn will impress with its views up to this second highest peak in Slovakia (Lomnický štít peak itself is accessible by cable car). Relax and recharge your batteries in the Panorama Restaurant at Skalnaté Pleso, in the Pizza – Pasta Restaurant at the mid-station Štart or in the largest Après-ski bar in the Tatras and Slovakia, which is located next to the lower cable car station in Tatranská Lomnica.

Tatranska Lomnica village
The center of Tatranska Lomnica consists of a railway station, around which are food markets and restaurants, sport shops, an information center. A short walk from there will take you to the newly formed Tatranian Museum of Winter Sports devoted to the history and development of winter sports in the High Tatras from their beginnings until 1945.
Near it, there is the Museum of the Tatra National Park, a botanical garden, Hunting Lodge or bobsled for adrenaline enthusiasts.
The small but fine selection of restaurants in Tatranská Lomnica offers traditional Slovakian cuisine and invites you to a cosy end of a day on the piste. A large umbrella bar is located at the gondola's valley station. The Humno Music Pub, an unusual bar with a Cadillac hanging from the ceiling, can be found in the resort centre.
The "Aqua City" water park in the nearby (17km.) Poprad does not only offer plenty opportunity for swimming and relaxing, but also a beautiful panoramic view over the High Tatra.
