Alleghe ski resort - Civetta ski area
The slopes in the ski area Civetta are very beginner-friendly. There are multiple ski schools with large children's areas, which teach and introduce children playfully to skiing. The main attraction for the little guests is the "Happy Park", a play area and kindergarten in the snow. Around a dozen mountain restaurants ensure guests stay warm and well fed.
Beginners can use the practice slopes at the sunny Piani di Pezzè area, where a special kids zone includes a diddy snow park to help build confidence on the slopes. When the pizza turns are perfected, the runs from Col dei Baldi are good for progression. This part of the ski area looks over to the Marmolada and Sella massif, offering exhilarating views before you ski down the steady blue towards Palafavera, or tackle the steeper #14.
For intermediates, there are dozens of red pistes all over the ski area, including the wide, cruisey #39 into Zoldo (which is floodlit in the evenings) and a route back to the village that has steep sections. Gran Zuita from Col Fioret is the longest run in the area, clocking up 7km as it links red and blue runs from the wide open Fernazza into the woods and with awesome views over the lake and wall. Another route worth skiing is the Great War 1915-18 Ski Tour, where you’ll pass historic sites in the area.
A real highlight for very experienced skiers is the black World Cup slope "Foppe" at the Crep de Pecol. It is 1.5 km long and ends in Pecol (1,388 m), a district of Zoldo Alto. There is also the black piste No. 6, a steeper slope for the pros.
It is also connected by ski bus to the ski Marmolada, This allows you to ski to the Marmolada and by connecting the Padon reach around the Sella Ronda. In addition to Pescul you can climb to the ski 5 Torri, and then the Great War Tour.
