Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe situated in Ukraine, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province) of western Ukraine.
The resort is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains at elevation of 900 m above the sea level near the village of Polianytsia. Bukovel currently boasts 16 lifts and 65 km of pistes. Each piste are meticulously prepared for the skiers. Even the most demanding skiers will be satisfied with the level of service. You can choose either the slopes for beginners or ski on the several “black diamonds”.
The location of Bukovel makes it the second highest resort in Ukraine after Dragobrat. You can watch great views on Hoverla – the highest mountain in Ukraine, sitting in the cosy cafe on the top of the several mountains. Night-skiing is available from 15.00 to 19.30 on the pistes of the red category.
