Going am Wilden Kaiser is confined by the Kitzbühel Alps in the south and the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain in the north.

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental features 83 cable cars, modern lifts, and up 270 kilometres of slopes at over 1,800 metres above sea level!All in all the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental covers nine villages, including Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Scheffau, Going and Söll, which can all be accessed using the state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars or on skis.
The ski resort in Going, with its series of small beginners' lifts, is in fact the gateway to a huge network of pistes known as the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. After arriving at the top, they will see the many slopes stretching out ahead of them, connected by a number of state-of-the-art lifts and cable cars. Here there really is something for everyone, from wide family pistes for cruising to steep runs like the "Black East".
Highlights in the resort include many easy slopes suitable for beginners, a number of race courses (some of which have a mechanism to measure skiers' speed), several pistes floodlit at night as well as three funparks for freestylers. Experienced skiers looking for an adrenaline kick can test their skills and nerve on the black run leading down from the Choralpe. It has a maximum gradient of 80%!
