Golm is a ski resort located in the Montafon valley in the Vorarlberg region of Austria. It is part of the larger Montafon ski area and is near the villages of Tschagguns and Vandans. Golm is the smallest of four main ski areas in Montafon, just 10 minutes drive from the motorway exit at Bludenz.

On Golm, nine state-of-the-art lifts and 44 kilometres of the best prepared pistes await you. From simple practice areas to the comfortable family descent to the demanding World Cup run - you are guaranteed to find the right ski piste here. The ski area is situated between 650 and 2.100 meters in elevation. Over 90% of the pistes on the Golm can be prepared using snow machines.
The skiing and boarding here is mostly for beginners or intermediates, with mostly red and blue pistes. There are 9 ski lifts here, the main ones being the Golmerbahn which rises in three sections from Vandans to Holzschopf, then Matschwitz and finally Berghof Golm at 1890m.
There is a nice 9km blue run from the Rätikonbahn summit station (2,110 m) to the Golmerbahn valley station in Vandans (650 m) challenging.
Golm area not a great place for expert skiers, although you may want to try the Diablo black run. The Diabolo piste on the Golm is one of the steepest pistes in Vorarlberg. With gradients of up to 70% and 312 m in length, you need strong nerves. For skiers who’d like to come along, but don’t feel entirely safe, there are ways of getting around the steepest key section.

Other major resorts in the Montafon region include Silvretta Montafon, Gargellen, and Hochjoch. Golm is one of the key ski resorts in Montafon, and while it's slightly smaller compared to some of the other resorts in the area, it still offers a great variety of slopes.
Vandans village
Golm is not a village itself but rather a ski resort in the Montafon region, located near the villages of Tschagguns and Vandans in Vorarlberg, Austria. Tschagguns and Vandans are charming, traditional Alpine villages that provide easy access to the Golm resort via cable cars and ski lifts.
The flower village (Vandans), once crowned the most beautiful in Europe, is by the imposing Vandans rock wall. Here you can find rural charm and an intriguing mix of modern architecture and traditional Montafon houses.
