The mountain village Hinterstoder is the idyllic centre of the Upper Austria holiday region Pyhrn-Priel. It is located at an altitude of 600 m in the Stoder Valley, approx. 140 km east of Salzburg.
The ski area Hinterstoder - Hutterer Höss comprises 40 km of ski pistes, 14 ski lifts - including a comfortable cabin cable car taking you up to 1.400m of altitude – numerous runs for all levels of expertise and a Sunny Kids Park.
Hinterstoder is known for being the site of the Ski World Cup for the disciplines Giant Slalom and Super-G, but also for being a relaxing holiday location for winter sport enthusiasts of all kinds. The local mountain of Hinterstoder - the Hutterer Höss - offers family-friendly skiing fun for all ages with its World Cup run and fun pistes. Moreover, you will find various recreational activities in the wintry nature and snowy scenery of the Totes Gebirge. Winter sport lovers can get active with snow shoe hiking, tobogganing, ice skating and much more in the extensive Stoder Valley.
