Korbielów is a small ski resort located in southern Poland, in the Silesian Voivodeship, near the border with Slovakia. It lies in the Beskid Żywiecki mountain range, part of the larger Carpathian Mountains. The village sits at the base of Pilsko Mountain (1.557 m.), which is the second-highest peak in the Beskid Żywiecki range after Babia Góra.

Pilsko is closely associated with the nearby village of Korbielów, which serves as a gateway to the ski resort on Pilsko Mountain.
Sitting at elevations from around 708 to 1,550 meters, this resort is well-regarded for its variety of ski runs, particularly appealing to intermediate skiers. The winter season here lasts longer than in other resorts because Korbielów is situated at a higher altitude than most other ski areas in this part of Poland. The season starts at the end of November and ends in mid-April.
There are 12 kilometers of ski slopes in total, with the longest run measuring 4.5 kilometers. There are 2 kilometers each of green and blue slopes (4 kilometers total), and 8 kilometers of red slopes. Korbielów has 8 ski lifts, including 3 chairlifts and 5 drag lifts. To use the lifts, you need to purchase a "Korbielów-Pilsko" pass. This pass grants access to all slopes and includes entry to the snow park, which will undoubtedly delight many snowboarders.
Additional winter attractions include sleigh rides, snowmobile riding, and a modern snow activity called snowkiting. For tourists who want to explore the most interesting places around Korbielów, we recommend visiting Żywiec, located 23 kilometers away.
Korbielów is about 80 kilometers south of the city of Kraków.
