Nestling at the heart of Upper Jura Regional Nature Park, the family resort of Monts Jura is formed of four skiing sites and two villages, Mijoux and Lélex. Monts Jura tracks offer the largest area and the largest slope of the Jura mountains.
Monts Jura resort offers three ski areas where you can practice: Crozet-Lélex, Mijoux-La Faucille and Menthières. The 3 ski areas offer you 30 lifts (including 3 cable cars) and 35 pistes (50 km).
From 900 to 1680 m, all the winter sports and the joys of snow can be practised. From the vast wooded areas which offer slopes for all levels and for gentle skiing, to the highest peaks you'd expect for more "sporty" skiing, Monts Jura allows you to take each pleasure in turn. The best Alpine skiers from across France come here regularly to measure each other up on the resort’s Piste des Rhodos! And every single time, thousands of spectators come to watch the world’s top 200 Downhill and Slalom competitors tackle the slope.
And for the snowboarders, superb snowy slopes they snowboard down freely, especially the Crozet snow-park. For the little ones, two nurseries and four snow play-gardens where they can be introduced to the joys of winter sports.
The village, which has less than 250 "permanent" inhabitants, is labeled a green resort.
