Lermoos and Biberwier are two of the most family-friendly resorts in the vast Tirol Zugspitz Arena.
During the daytime the wide slopes are ideal for beginners and cruisers, while at night there is plenty to keep guests entertained. The view from the Grubigstein mountain at 2,100m is one of the most spectacular in Tirol: skiers and snowboarders can let their eyes wander from the peaks of the mighty Zugspitze Massif down to the pretty village of Ehrwald in the valley below.
The resort of Lermoos, where the Grubigstein can be found, has a small selection of pistes rated blue (easy), red (intermediate) and black (expert). A shuttle bus connects Lermoos to the nearby resort of Biberwier. Both are part of the huge Tirol Zugspitz Arena ski network and are considere two of its most family-friendly resorts.
The children's area offers is plenty for youngsters to see and do, while snowboarders can work on their tricks at the funpark near the mid-way station of the cable car in Lermoos. One a week there is night skiing on the floodlit pistes.
