Leysin, located on a terrace at an altitude of 1200 metres above sea level above Aigle in the lower Rhone Valley. Leysin is one of the closes resorts to Geneva Airport, with a rail connection from the airport which only requires one change, at Aigle.
The Leysin ski fields with their 60km of pistes are suitable for all categories of skier and are especially popular with youngsters and families. At altitudes varying from 1300 to 2200m and with snow guaranteed by the permanent snow canons, Leysin is quite often host to important sporting events.
The Swiss ski resort is part of the Glacier-Alpes Vaudoises ski area and in addition to the skiing in Leysin itself, the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Glacier-Alpes Vaudoises ski resorts of Anzere, Les Diablerets and Villars – Gryon.

The slopes of Les Mosses – La Lécherette are extremely popular with families thanks to their accessibility and their perfect conditions: wide slopes, a snowpark and generous sunshine. Beginners are in the spotlight with a large snow garden, which includes many games, small jumps, a magic carpet, a ski lift and a button lift to easily climb the slope.
The ski lifts offer a gondola and one chairlift departing from Leysin and a bus for quick access to the ski area as well as a shuttle to link the Leysin sector with the Les Mosses-La Lécherette sector.
