The ski area Mellau – Damüls – Faschina has 109 kilometers of piste fun, and with a number of 27 lifts it is the largest ski resort of the Bregenzerwald. From easy terrain for newcomers to real challenging leg killers for athletic skiers and snowboarders, here is something for everyone.
For the experienced skiers, the race tracks with time measurement are one of the many highlights. The Burton Snowpark leaves nothing to be desired for beginners, advanced snowboarders and freestylers and all ski cross fanatics can demonstrate their skills on various ski cross routes. The 120 m long ski tunnel is also a fixed point one should not miss in Mellau. Those who can still not get enough after sunset, can make their turns on the night slope.
Off the slopes, the wonderful mountain scenery can be enjoyed on one of the many winter hiking trails or high altitude cross-country trails. The new 8-seater chairlift Rossstelle has been chosen already as a test winner. The new 10-seater gondola which opens the ski area Mellau – Damüls – Faschina from Mellau, has a café, sports shop, ski rental, ski storage, ski workshop and a skischool near the base station.
