Moena is a comune/municipality in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres northeast of Trento. It is the largest comune in the Fassa Valley.
The ski area is only 4 kilometres far from the town Moena. The cabin lift, inaugurated in 2008, departs from "Ronchi" and goes up to "Valbona", a natural hollow where people can enjoy a pleasant alpine atmosphere. The different kinds of lifts (gondolas, ski lifts, and a wide network of modern chair lifts) enables both expert skiers and children to live an unforgettable snow experience on 27 km of slopes, always in top conditions. From "Le Cune", at an altitude of 2,200 m, people can enjoy a stunning panorama over the Dolomites: Latemar, Catinaccio-Rosengarten (Unesco World Heritage) with the distinctive silhouette of Roda de Vael, the Monzoni Group and the majestic peaks of Pale di San Martino.
The ski area Alpe Lusia is easy reachable by car or by ski bus from Moena and San Pellegrino Pass.
