Paljakka

Paljakka ski resort is located in the Kainuu region of Finland, specifically near the town of Puolanka. It’s approximately 40 kilometers from the town of Kajaani and around 600 kilometers north of Helsinki.

In winter Paljakka is the snowiest area in Finnish Lakeland, ensuring that conditions are good with natural snow. Snow is affected by Paljakka’s high location and southwest winds.

11 slopes for all levels of skiers.

Skiers especially praise the condition of the slopes and their profile in Paljakka, as well as the fact that skiing here can be enjoyed without big crowds even in the high season. The slopes’ incline to the west and their location in the snowiest area in Finland ensure that the snow conditions are good even with natural snow.
