Sesto ski resort - The Three Peaks ski area
*The Three Peaks of Lavaredo, Tre Cime in Italian and 3 Zinnen in German, are the symbol of the Sesto Dolomites and are considered by many to be the most beautiful mountains in the world. It is not only the major attraction of the municipality, but also the symbol of the Alta Pusteria.
Sesto skiing
Croda Rossa has 17 km of piste and 3 lifts and is accessible via two funiculars from Bagni di Moso. The ski area is popular with families thanks to a 5 km adventure toboggan run and a fun park for both skiers and snowboarders. One of the main highlights, however, is the black Holzriese run, which is Italy’s steepest piste with a gradient of 71% - so it’s most definitely not for the faint-hearted! There are plenty of great runs for less experienced skiers, too, ensuring groups of skiers with mixed abilities can all have the best possible ski holiday in the Sesto Dolomites.
Sesto Snowpark
In Dobbiaco you can try out the only Big Airbag in Alta Pusteria - the perfect place for extensive jumping training. The 260 m long Funpark Rienz has six jumps and ten rails.
Sesto (Sexten) village
Sesto is a classic ski-in, ski-out base, with fantastic half-board hotels and luxurious spas.
The après-ski scene in this resort is more on the tranquil side, ideal for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere after a day on the slopes. You can unwind at cozy bars like Bar Rainer or Lanterna Verde, savoring a warm drink. However, for those seeking a bit more excitement, there are occasional live music events at bars like Bar Sexten.
