Solda is a ski resort in South Tyrol, northern Italy. It is located within the Ortler Alps at an elevation of approximately 1,900 meters. The village is part of the Stelvio National Park, near Italy’s border with Switzerland - Austria. Solda is renowned for its high-altitude skiing, surrounded by peaks such as the Ortler, which is the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps.

Also, it offers slopes of different difficulty and high-quality security system. Besides that, Solda is set in a fantastic world of mountains and glaciers, that makes your holiday here a unique experience! Some of its most interesting slopes: the "Discesa Famiglia" (Family slope) is an easy and scenic track, or the 2.5 km long Kanonenrohr, which is a very steep and narrow black slope with beautiful and breathtaking views.
Thanks to the altitudes ranging from 1,900 to 3,250 meters above sea level and the efficiency of the snowmaking equipment, you can ski on the beautiful slopes of Solda from October until the beginning of May.
The snow park in the ski area of Solda lures freestyle fans in with various boxes, rails, and kickers. In addition, not only is a permanent boardercross track in the free terrain near the Madritsch-Hütte available to check out, but there is also a 100 m long half pipe.
Once per week it is possible to enjoy night skiing on the pistes in the Solda ski area. The piste is illuminated on a length of 2.5 km and the local gastronomy opens just for the purpose of night skiing, which makes Solda a nice night ski area. The conveyor belt at the piste is also illuminated, so that nobody needs to get on the mountain by foot. Everybody who already has a lift pass can go night skiing for free.
