Starting from the winter season 2020/2021, there will be the connecting cable cars "Panoramalink" from Griessenkareck in the ski area Snow Space Salzburg to the ski area Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl / Kleinarl.

Soon, you will be able to experience the entire range of three ski areas - from Alpendorf to Zauchensee. Winter sports enthusiasts expect more than 200 kilometers of slopes on just one day of skiing, as this lift now links the Wagrain and Kleinarl ski areas. With the Panoramalink, the range of slope kilometers increases from 120 to 205 km. From the valley side in Flachauwinkl, the access to the Zauchensee ski area is only 400 meters away. The new construction of the Flying Mozart cable cars completes the offer and guarantees more comfort and a faster access to the ski area.

The route of the 3.1 km long lift takes you from the mountain stations on the Grießenkareck over the ridges to the mountain station of Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl.
Flying Mozart
The Flying Mozart cable car, which leads from the Kirchboden in Wagrain to the Grießenkareck via two sections, is one of the busiest cable cars in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area with 1.3 million transportations per winter season. Next year, a modern and high-performance monocable gondola with 10-passenger cabins will be built to replace the 31-year-old cable car.
The heart of the railway is the new underground middle station, which will provide same-level access to the G-Link aerial tramway connecting the Grießenkar with the Grafenberg.

The new mountain station will be suited a bit higher up on the mountain at the same height as the mountain station of the 8-person chairlift Starjet 3 coming up from Flachau and therefore giving access to a much wider range of slopes. The long straights in the stations allow a very comfortable entry and exit at a significantly reduced travel speed. The new Flying Mozart cable car will surmount the 970 vertical meters to the Grießenkareck in less than 11 minutes and carry up to 4,000 guests per hour uphill, so waiting times at the valley and middle station are finally a thing of the past.
Panorama Link
The new Panorama Link cable car connects the two ski areas Snow Space Salzburg and Flachauwinkl / Kleinarl and offers all guests maximum fun on the slopes and a comfortable ride in the cable car.
While skiing between the towns of Wagrain and Kleinarl, winter sports enthusiasts enjoy a unique mountain panorama in the Hohe Tauern and Niedere Tauern. The 3.1 km long cable car route leads from the mountain stations on Grießenkareck over the ridge to the mountain station Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl. The new 10-seater cable car is being built and operated by the Snow Space Salzburg Bergbahnen AG together with Shuttleberg GmbH.

To manage the tight schedule for the construction of the new cable cars Flying Mozart and Panorama Link, we will start with the demolition work on March 23, 2020.
Please note: Flying Mozart 1+2 and G-Link are only operating until March 22, 2020!
