Everyting that's new on Meribel's pistes in 2020-2021.
The development of the Cherferie and Roc de Fer areas continues...
Bouquetin the new chairlift replacing Plattières 3
Bye bye to the vintage bubbles of Plattières 3, and hello to Bouquetin, a brand new chairlift!
With skis on your feet and a comfortable seat, you’ll love new 6-person chairlift: in just 2 ½ minutes, you’ll be at the top, admiring the view from the Mont de la Challe plateau before heading down the slopes towards Les Menuires or Saint Martin de Belleville.
Also accessible to pedestrians, the descent of the Couloir du Bouquetin definitely has the ‘wow factor’!
New Roc de Fer tunnel & Footbridge
8.5m wide, 5m high and 50m long, the new Roc de Fer tunnel is quite unlike its predecessor.
With the Roc de Fer tunnel, you can make the most of the full ski area even when there’s a race happening!
Thanks to this new addition, you can ski the fabulous Roc de Fer area with its iconic pistes even when the race champions are whizzing down the competition slope!
And as for the footbridge, it will help skiers on the Raffort piste who are staying in the village or returning to Brides les Bains. You won’t need to go down then up the steps to access the Olympe gondola, you can simply walk straight across from the piste! An opportunity to (re)discover the new red runs which were opened last year: Daguet and Gypaète.
