SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental and KitzSki will be offering the toughest skiers a new challenge from this winter: the longest ski circuit in the world will connect the SkiWelt with the KitzSki ski area. This means that winter sports enthusiasts will be able to ski from Going am Wilden Kaiser through the Kitzbühel Alps all the way to Hollersbach in the Hohe Tauern without setting foot on the same slope twice.

The new KitzSkiWelt Tour will in future connect the world’s best ski area, KitzSki, with the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, the world’s greenest ski area. With a descent of over 85 kilometres as the longest variant from Going to Hollersbach/Mittersill – return and an impressive range of slopes, this is the longest ski circuit in the world and for that reason it’s an absolute must for every skier.
Access on to the KitzSkiWelt Tour is possible at a total of 14 KitzSki and SkiWelt locations (KitzSki: Aschau, Kirchberg, Kitzbühel, Jochberg, Pass Thurn and Hollersbach/Mittersill | SkiWelt: Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Scheffau, Söll and Westendorf). As you make your way along the KitzSkiWelt Tour, several impressive mountain panoramas open out, namely Wilder Kaiser, Hohe Salve, the Kitzbühel and Tux Alps and Hohe Tauern. There are also numerous spots for your own souvenir photos, for example, at the legendary Starthaus on the Streif, where a professional skiline photo point with camera is installed, plus Hohe Salve, the highest pilgrimage church in Austria with a view of over 70 3,000-metre peaks.
A specially designed website www.skiwelt.at/kitzskiwelttour offers the best route suggestions for the KitzSkiWelt Tour from every SkiWelt and KitzSki access point. Here you can navigate effortlessly through the two ski areas and view them on the interactive ski maps.
