This long-awaited new season promises to be exceptional. For the opening of the resort, Vars does not change good habits and opens with a unique concert to kick off the winter and the opening of the ski area.

With his touch of madness the famous singer Mika will be in Vars on December 11 on an outdoor stage at an altitude of 1850m. The first visitors will have the opportunity to listen to this unprecedented concert with their feet in the snow and their heads in the stars!
Impatience is already at the rendezvous with all the players in the resort who are working to provide an unforgettable moment for holidaymakers who will choose Vars to make their first footsteps.

Schilthornbahn: World`s steepest cableway is open!

The world's steepest cable car starts operating. The new direct connection between Stechelberg and Mürren was officially opened the day before as part of a VIP opening ceremony. At the same time, the first section of the cable car between Mürren and Birg will go into operation.

The new Plateau chairlift will enrich the Kronplatz ski area

Kronplatz, one of the premier ski destinations in the Dolomites, has introduced a state-of-the-art 8-seater chairlift named Plateau for the 2024/25 winter season. Located in the Olang sector, this new chairlift replaces the previous 4-seater, offering a significant upgrade in comfort and efficiency.
