Andalo ski resort in northern Italy, within the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region. Nestled in the Brenta Dolomites, village sits at around 1,040 meters above sea level. Andalo’s ski lifts connect the resort with the summit of Paganella at an altitude of 2,125 metres.

Andalo, a well equipped but relaxed resort is located on a wide plateau between the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella massif. The area is surrounded by the magnificent peaks of the Dolomites with spectacular views of the Adige Valley. Many slopes on the two faces allow skiers the best choice according to their abilities for reaching Roda – the locality on the mountain top at 2125 m from where it is impossible not to be struck by the fantastic and unique surrounding scenery rangingfrom the Dolomiti di Fassa (including Marmolada) to the Lago di Garda which on clear days can be seen right up to the Po valley.
The Paganella ski area has modern ski lifts, fully inter-connected, with a modern gondol and several detachable quad chailifts. The skiing varies between trail cut through thickly forested slopes above the village and an open snowy plateau at the top of the ski slopes. Skiers will find that two key access lift depart from the centre of the village and that they can ski back to the village centre for maximum convenience.
The extensive snow-making coverage grants full skiable slopes from December to of the end season with 90% of the ski area covered. The area has trails for all standards including beginner trails both by the village an up near the summit, then easier and moderate slopes and the famed black Olimpica run for experts. The ski area offers all the latest facilities:14 lift systems, 4 magic carpets and 50km of connected slopes. The Paganella Ski Skipass is part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta circuit.
Andalo skiing
Andalo is a fantastic resort for intermediate skiers who want to test their skills and push their limits. The Paganella area is a great spot for intermediate skiers, with plenty of wide, rolling blues to cruise along, including the famous Antonio (P) and Salare (W) runs. More advanced intermediate skiers should head to Fai della Paganella, where they can tackle runs like Paganella (Q) and Cacciatori (L&M).
While Andalo may not have as many challenging runs as some other resorts, it still offers a good selection for advanced skiers. The Camoscio run is a favourite amongst experts, with its steep incline and challenging terrain. In addition, the Selletta and Dosso (C) runs offer a thrilling descent with a significant vertical drop, providing an adrenaline-fuelled experience for advanced skiers.

Olimpionica II (H) - Used by the Norway Alpine Ski Team for training and the venue for the European Cup giant slalom races, Paganella’s black run features a wall with a maximum gradient of 53%. Nearly 1.5 m long and with an average width of 55 m, it was the training slope of choice for multiple world champion and Olympic gold medallist Bode Miller. The black section is part of a longer 5 km slope with a total vertical descent of 1,100 m, offering more experienced skiers a thrilling ride from the summit to the town.
Jana Granda (N) - Panoramic, exciting and guaranteed to get the adrenaline pumping, the Jana Granda is the new red slope.
Served by the 10-person Dosson-Selletta gondola lift, this 2 km long slope is an average of 46 m wide and has a maximum gradient of 47%.
The ski area also offers great variety for families with children. At the Pian Dosson hut at 1,450 metres, there is a children's play park where kids can have fun for free in the play area and on a large bouncy castle and practise their first attempts at skiing on the demarcated practice area with additional inflatable obstacles. At 1,333 m, there is also the Biblioigloo&Gaggia Park, which offers a mini snowtubing track with colourful tyres on a child-friendly route down into the valley.
Ski lovers can try the thrill of night skiing on the floodlit Cacciatori 1 (L) piste. A 3 km long piste, fully illuminated, for skiing under the stars.
Dosson Snowpark
Andalo is not only ski but so much fun with snowboarding at the Dosson Snowpark! Who wants to test their skills as freestyler Paganella Ski offers the Dosson snow-park, easily reachable with the 8 seats Andalo - Doss Pelà Telecabina. The Dosson snow-park features 4 tables with 11 facilities including picnic tables, jib tank and box, a 3.5 meters high Rev 3 with straight hips and safety rings for safe landing even with the most reckless jumps. The snowpark, divided into the easy zone for beginners and expert zone for the most experienced snowboarders, has facilities for all levels. The strategic location, next to the brand new Dosson Diner's Retreat, will allow you to spend pleasant days with fun and relaxation.
Andalo village
Andalo is a small town, but one of the most important ski and tourist resorts in Trentino. It has various facilities to be able to have fun or spend time with the family. The town offers state-of-the-art sporting facilities: two indoor swimming pools with water park features, the AcquaIN wellness centre, bowls, miniature golf, climbing walls and the ice rink.
For those who want to try local flavors, excellent game and typical specialties, such as potato tortei or the well-known canederli, can be enjoyed at numerous restaurants and trattorias overlooking the Dolomites.
For nightlife lovers , on the other hand, the center of Andalo offers several pubs to spend an evening with friends with a mug of beer or chatting over an aperitif.
